Le Parc Nacional des Pyreenes Occidentales, Pyrenean Haute Route, France and Spain
Fly to Bilbao, see the Guggenheim, and tour the Basque coastal area in northern Spain toward the French border. Take the train to the French mountain village of Lescun to start the trek at the only national park in the French Pyrenees with a length of 100km. After eleven days, end the trek in Gavarnie and transfer by bus to Lourdes. Then take the train to city of Toulouse for the flight to London.
South West Coast Path, Cornwall, England
After a week in London to chill, take the train from Paddington station to Penzance, former home of smugglers and pirates. Bus out to Land's End to begin the week-long coastal walk, walking west to east, to the village of Falmouth, staying at historic inns and B&Bs along the way. While there are many beaches, it is an undulating hike along the dramatic coastline. Take the ferry to Truro for an early train back to Paddington, and the Heathrow Express.
