So remote yet dramatic, these NW Pacific Coast beaches are wonderful day hikes. Book way ahead for Kalaloch Lodge or Campground, for the closest places to spend the night. Or there are a couple of other campgrounds in the National Park or toward Forks. Further north, backpacking beach to beach and navigating the headlands and tides is also great fun. Camp with the sea otters. Go one-way and leave a car at the other end, if possible.
