The 700 year old Konopiste Chateau is just outside Prague in a lovely park, and was used extensively as a hunting retreat by Archduke Ferdinand, whose assassination in Sarajevo, triggered the start of the First World War in 1914. The medieval castle is modern inside, and features the third largest armory display in Europe.

Prague, Czech Republic
Twelve centuries have adorned the Czech Republic's capital city with a labyrinth of old streets, and wonderful old streets and bridges. Fascinating sites include the Old Town Square and City Hall, set among antique houses and arcades. Other sites include the Astronomical Clock, Powder Tower, and the Prague Ghetto, which includes the Jewish Cemetery. Also saw the Charles Bridge over the Vitava river, nearby the Hradcany area which contains the Castle of the Bohemian Kings.
